Before I became a hypnotherapist (consulting hypnotist) I knew I wanted to help people to transform their life from difficulties they were experiencing and to find more freedom and peace in their lives. I had always been interested in psychology and the power of the mind ever since I studied my big brother’s college psychology book and read his copy of “The Magic of Thing Big” by David Schwartz (which I highly recommend). But at this stage of my life I didn’t want to spend years in college so I began to ponder what I have been doing and using for these many years. Hypnosis! In some form or fashion I have been using hypnosis for over forty years.
I have a certificate to help people
I became a certified Consulting Hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) in 2017. My wonderful instructor was Kay Russell. I furthered my training with other great hypnotherapists such as Jerry Kein, Steve Parkhill, Jason Linett, Cal Banyan, Roy Hunter, Ines Simpson, Marilyn Gordon, Tim Horn, Ron Eslinger, Sheila Granger, Don Mottin, and others. It is fulfilling to know that I have an extensive toolset to help people with their fears, habits, aspirations or spiritual development.
I help people with a variety of life issues
It’s so exciting to have the tools to assist people to quit smoking or overeating. It’s great to help people overcome their fears of taking tests or public speaking. It’s wonderful to help people lift themselves out of their creative blocks or sadness and to help them reach new levels of spiritual awareness.
I work with people on a deep level
I assist people in going deeper than the ordinary every day conscious mind as we move into the subconscious mind and higher into the superconscious mind. I assist in going deeply so that I can make powerful suggestions when their conscious mind is finally quiet enough that the suggestions they want can be heard.
I get to connect with people
When I work with hypnosis I work with people and I connect with them on profound levels. This is beneficial and nourishing to my life as well as theirs. Many professionals in other modalities barely have or take the time to hear their patients or clients. I have a listening ear and I bring in my own wisdom into my work as well.
